My Account
How do I create an account?
  1) Click the "My Account / Order Status" link at the top right side of our site.
2) Enter your e-mail address.
3) Select "I am a new customer".

Then simply follow the prompts to complete setting up your account. Your information is NEVER sold to any other company and is kept completely private. Please view our Privacy Policy for more information.
How do I edit my account information?
  Click the "My Account / Order Status" link at the top right hand side of our site to edit your account information.
How much is my shipping?
  Shipping is automatically calculated prior to submitting your payment information.  Simply add items to your cart and proceed to the Checkout page where you will be offered Shipping Method choices and their prices.
I forgot my password.
  Click the "My Account / Order Status" link at the top right hand side of our site. Under the login box you'll see a link that says "Forgot your password? Click here". That link will send an e-mail to you with your password.
How do I return my product?

I received the wrong product.
  If you feel that you have received the wrong product, please contact customer service within 72 hours of receipt and we will do our best to make things right.
What is your return policy?
  Heirloom Registry™ Products 

If a sticker, metal plate or other item purchased for use on The Heirloom Registry™ is damaged or otherwise defective upon receipt, we will replace it free of charge within 60 days of purchase. 

In the unlikely event that the registration number associated with an item does not work or registers as "invalid," please contact us so that we can try and figure out what's wrong. If the error is on our end, we will replace it free of charge.  

Home History Book™ archival journals 

After you place your order, we will contact you to provide a mock-up of your customized nameplate. It is important that you carefully review the nameplate for accuracy and follow the instructions that come with the mock-up to alert us of any errors or corrections to the address. 

Once you have confirmed the accuracy of the nameplate, we will engrave and permanently attach it to your Home History Book™ archival journal. Because the nameplate is permanently attached, our ability to accept returns is limited solely to those rare instances in which the book itself is damaged or otherwise defective. In such case, the book must be returned unmarked and in original, "new" condition. (Note that as we explain in our full product description for the Home History Book Premier, because the book is bound in 100 percent genuine leather, we cannot accept returns due to markings that naturally occur on the hide.) 

Genealogy and Archival Preservation Products 

We will accept return and refund your purchase on items shipped back to us in unused, "new" condition within 60 days of purchase.

When will my order ship?

Generally, we're able to ship products purchased for The Heirloom Registry™ (stickers, brass plates, etc.) within 48 hours of placing your order. The same goes for non-custom items such as archival supplies and genealogy resources.

Our Home History Book™ archival journals include a custom, brass nameplate which is engraved with the address you supply during the checkout process. Note, however, that because the nameplate is permanent, we want you to make sure all information is accurate and you are happy. Therefore, once we receive your order we will e-mail you an electronic mockup of your nameplate. You will need to follow the instructions on the e-mail to confirm the nameplate address before we can submit it for engraving and continue processing your order. You should generally expect to receive your custom Home History Book within three to four weeks. Expedited shipping may be available at additional cost.

Also, after placing your order, you may click the "My Account / Order Status" link at the top right hand side of our site to track the status of your order. You will receive a shipment confirmation when your order has shipped and tracking information within 24-48 hours of shipment.
